It all started when...

Mirabel qualified with the Cork School of Shiatsu in 2012, affiliated with the European School of Shiatsu.  She then went on to train as a teacher of Contemporary Tai Chi.

Since qualifying as a Shiatsu practitioner she has attended many postgraduate workshops focusing on specialist subjects within the vast umbrella of Shiatsu.

She is currently in her 3rd year of acupuncture training.

My Core Values:

  • To support people back to balance, restoring overall mental and physical health.

  • To empower people to care for themselves & embody their full potential.

  • To have the chance and honour to connect deeply to people in the silence of the parasympathetic nervous system - soul to soul - and in doing so aid them to reconnect deeply to themselves; their vitality, wisdom & strength. And in pregnancy shiatsu, connecting mothers to be with their babies & their own wisdom.

  • To help people create spaciousness within themselves so that they feel able to accomplish all that they desire.

  • Through Tai Chi/Qi Kung and Shiatsu I believe we create balance using the body’s own resources; a step away from conventional medicine towards a sustainable means of health and wellbeing.

  • My aim is to promote positive health through this truly holistic approach, cultivating Qi with breath and movement and the healing quality of touch.

Areas I’m passionate about:

Treating people with Shiatsu during pregnancy and offering emotional and physical support to both mother and father.

Offering emotional support through bodywork as well as empowering people to care for themselves.
